Ink Painting to Singing Bowls

This contemplative workshop begins with an introduction to the techniques and material qualities of ink painting, followed by guided breathwork and deep listening exercises designed to cultivate presence and sustained attention. Accompanied by the resonant tones of live singing bowls, participants will explore intuitive mark-making through rhythm, gesture, and sensation, approaching painting not as representation or outcome, but as an embodied and meditative creative practice. Open to all experience levels, the workshop offers a space for reflection, creative exploration, and communal presence through the integration of sound, movement, and visual expression.

Perceptive Drawing: Activating Your Attention and Focus

Drawing from observation can serve as a powerful method for attuning focus, entering states of flow, and cultivating mindfulness through sustained visual attention. This workshop approaches drawing not simply as a technical exercise, but as a perceptual and embodied practice that deepens awareness of space, light, proportion, and our relationship to the environments around us. Through guided exercises in observation, line, spatial construction, and perspective, participants will explore foundational principles of drawing and develop a more attentive and present way of seeing. The workshop will also incorporate simple breathing techniques designed to support concentration, calm the mind, and strengthen visual awareness.
