Creating access to integrative arts education and transformative human development.
Zoya is a movement and a philosophy for holistic human development through integrative art education.
Zoya means life in Greek, radiant in Arabic, and loving in Persian, perfectly expressing the values at the heart of this movement.
Zoya is a living architecture and educational philosophy promoting an integrative approach to creative living.
We believe that art is essential to human development. We believe the body carries wisdom. We believe contemplation deepens perception. We believe education should nurture the whole person.
Care
Our spaces are rooted in empathy, generosity, listening, and mutual support.
Creativity
Artistic practice is essential to human growth, not secondary to it.
Cultural Equity
Transformative education and artistic experience are accessible to people of all backgrounds and economic circumstances.
Collective Flourishing
Personal growth and communal wellbeing are inseparable.
We propose that human development is enriched through the integration of body, mind, heart, and the creative spirit.
Artistic exploration is interwoven with mindfulness, meditation, visualization, breathwork, sensory awareness, and movement-based practices drawn from both contemporary and ancient traditions.
Through deep seeing, attentive listening, connective touch, aroma, taste, and embodied presence, integrative arts education seeks to awaken perception, foster self-awareness, and cultivate a more connected and fully realized human experience.
Collectively, we are building a more connected and creative future.
We envision a world where a welcoming community flourishes through creative integration, mutual care, equity, accessibility, and the transformative power of somatic and contemplative practices.
Our ultimate goal is to embody this vision within a physical space and living architecture designed to nurture the body, the creative heart, and the contemplative mind.
Inhabiting intentionally designed spaces and communities has the power to transform individuals and entire cultural spheres. When people gather in environments rooted in presence, creativity, care, and shared practice, new ways of relating, learning, and living become possible. In an increasingly fragmented world, these spaces can help restore connection, fostering a deeper sense of belonging, awareness, and collective responsibility.

Our founding board members, teaching artists, embodiment and contemplation practitioners, are currently forming Zoya and the integrative education philosophy.
As our educational philosophy is unique and still in developmental stages, in many ways we are explorers and inventors, researchers and creators. We will be testing out our ideas and sharing the successes with our students and the public.
We are currently growing our team! Interested in joining the Zoya family? Email us at info@zoyaintegration.org
